10-days Asiatic Ibex hunting tour program in Issyk-Kul mountains:
Hunting seasons: from 15 August till 1 December, 2006 and from 1 March till 30 March, 2007
Hunting area: Inner Tian-Shan, Karasay-Sirt valley, Issyk-Kul oblast (110000 hectares of private hunting ground)
Accommodation: camp/hunting cabins
Altitude: 3800-4100 m
Distance from the main road Bishkek-Karakol: 210 km
Duration of expedition: 10 days (6 days for active hunting)
Method of hunting: using horses for transportation; stalking (totally 3 approaches)
Number of hunters in group: 1-3.
1 Day. Meeting at "Manas" Airport. Upon client's wish for adaptation to local climate accommodating in Bishkek hotels or resorts and hotels of Issyk-Kul (price for accommodation is not included in the tour);
2 Day. Drive by off-roader to the hunting area. Adaptation to high mountains conditions, rifle check, rest;
3,4,5,6,7,8 Days. Active hunting for the Asiatic Ibex and other games;
9 Day. Upon client's choice accommodation in Bishkek hotels or resorts of Issyk-Kul (price for accommodation is not included in the tour);
10 Day. Departure from "Manas" airport, Bishkek City.
Notes:
The hunting requires good physical shape;
Upon hunter's wish it is possible to change the proposed program;
Stalking at the final stage;
Shooting range is 200 up to 500 meters.
Climate
Usually, weather is favorable and more predictable in this region during the Autumn hunting period.
Climate - continental. Spring: March: +15°C daytime, -5°C at night;
Autumn: from +15°C daytime, - 20°C at night. Expect windy conditions.
Basis tour price per 1 hunter - 5000 US$ (for citizens of Europe and US. For CIS citizens the price is 4500 US$) regardless of size includes:
Formalities package: Kyrgyz visa support, state's taxes and licenses, permit documentation for exporting trophy, firearm import/export permit, veterinarian certificate, CITES permit, official registration during all period of stay in camp;
One trophy - Asiatic Ibex;
Hunting camp accommodation;
Meals en route "Bishkek-Bishkek" and in camp (European and local cuisine);
Soft and alcoholic beverages (limited supply) during stay in camp;
All transportation on Kyrgyzstan territory: pick up and drop off at the airport, transfer from Bishkek to the camp and back (by car on the road, by Russian off-road "UAZ-469" or jeep in the mountains);
All serving staff including one interpreter per group/camp;
Assistance of professional huntsman during the hunt (2 per one hunter);
Horses (2 horses per hunter);
Trophy care and packing for shipment.

Airfare from your city to Bishkek and back;
Bishkek or Issyk-Kul hotel accommodation;

Price for non-hunter - 140 US$ per day.
Additional options:
Hunters will have an opportunity to hunt for another thopheys during the hunting for additional price (if desired): wolf - 500 US$;
Hunting is also can be provided at At-Bashinski district, Arpa valley, 110 km from the border with China. Here there is a recently constructed house with all nessesary facilities and also steam and in-door toilet. Camp locates on the altitude of 3500 m.
Suggested equipment list:
Heavy socks, one pair for each day of hunt. Shorts and undershirts for each day;
White overcoat (for camouflage);
Good quality sleeping bag, down or fiber of at least 3 pounds fill weight, mummy type is best;
Sunglasses or goggles;
Binoculars and spotting scope, camera and film, flashlight;
Several pairs of long underwear;
High-quality mountain boots;
Good quality windbreaker over clothing. Gortex hunting and ski clothing is excellent;
Extra duffel bags to transport trophies home;
Minimum of 40 rounds ammunition;
Toilet kit and personal gear.
